Sue's Bio
SUE ZAJAC ORIGINALS is an art company dedicated to providing affordable original art. Artist Sue Zajac has produced and sold well over a quarter million dollars worth of art cards and framed work since the beginning of her art career in 1993. Her intensely bright marbled papers are sometimes embellished with layers of fluid acrylic. Her botanical art cards feature the actual leaves and are also embellished with fluid acrylic accents. Because all her work is original and hand made, no two cards are identical. Annually, Sue offers a catalog of market tested designs for buyers. The designs have numbers and within that numbered design collection she produces variation. Her work is sold to indivduals, corporations, galleries, and gift shops.
Sue taught elementary public school for 30 years. She always intended to have a connection with the art world and that opportunity came upon retirement from teaching. After graduating with a B.A. + 36 in education and a minor in art, Sue is now realizing her art goals. Alaska, as a serene and mostly unchanged frontier, has been the perfect setting for Sue's original ideas and art.
